Oscilloscope Vertical Deflection Problem (?) - Tektronix 2336 Reply to Thread. I've looked through the service manual a number of times, but I can't seem to find anything about this specific problem. I don't want to butcher this thing, but I am confident that I can fix it on my own. Problem whit oscilloscope tektronix 2213hi all: I have.
A few days ago a nice chap (you know who you are) did let me know that a few things which might be of interest are about to go in the scrap container. Next day, i parked my trailer next to the bin and when i came back the goodies were loaded. This episode is dedicated to the Tek scope, some other things will come later. It turned out to be a 2245A in rather good condition, all it needed was a good clean as it was sitting in a damp storage area for a very long time. I was a bit worried how it looks inside after that time, so i had a closer look inside befoe i powerd it up.But no sparks, no smoke in this video, just a nice old Tek scope. The 2245A is the bottom end of the range model, so not much value in it, but it's a Tek and certainly in better condition than my ageing Rohde + Schwarz 100MHz scope which has major issues with the switches (rather cheap design + alot of wear). So that will go to the project pile, waiting for the next winter time to get fixed.(c) 2017www.dynoguy.co.uk.
